On the agenda for Tuesday’s meeting of the Camden County Commission, the subject of the TIGER 5 grant was listed for discussion. It was expected, at this meeting of the Commission, that a formal request for funds would be presented. Instead, the Camden County Commission sent Mr. Roeger, the Bridge Corporation, the unelected Lake Ozark Council of Governments and their TAC a letter of support. The cost of a stamp is considerably less than the $6,500 Roeger and his interests were seeking.
As discussed on Wednesday’s edition of Guerrilla Radio with American Spring, Second District Commissioner Cliff Luber was surprised there was no such request.
Mr. Roeger’s Neighborhood, with its planned expansion of Highway 242 through Shawnee Bend to the West Side of the Lake of the Ozarks, has been temporarily placed on hold, it would seem.
